Grey cotton dress with long sleeves and a slightly dropped waist and floor-length hem. The dress secures at the center front with hooks and eyes beneath four velvet-covered buttons. The waistline, Peter Pan collar, and sleeve cuffs are trimmed in black velvet, and there is a velvet bow at the center front of the waistband. The bodice has three outward-facing tucks and both the bodice and skirt gather into the waistband. The dress has an inner bodice, attached to the outer fabric at the back but not the front, that secures in the center front with seven white glass buttons.Context
