Metal bracket for holding a filter up to the lens of a camera, together with box and lid. The box is covered in glossy white paper, and a label on the top reads, "ADJUSTABLE FILTER HOLDER/For 2 inch square/Wratten Filters/EASTMAN KODAK COMPANY,/ROCHESTER, N.Y./Trade MArks Reg. U.S. Pat. Off./K P 4418 102."
The filter holder is a black metal square with a circular hole in the center. Within the hole is a thin black strip of metal attached to a bolt that can be adjusted to tighten around the lens of the camera. The left and right edges of the square fold back to allow the glass filter to slide inside. An impressed inscription around the circle reads, "MADE BY EASTMAN KODAK CO. ROCHESTER. N.Y. U.S.A. PAT. JUNE 5. 1917." and another beneath the circle reads, "1 1/8" TO 1 9/16"".Use
