Circular clear filter with double case. The filter consists of a flat, circular piece of glass contained within a black metal frame. The frame extends to the rear and is tabbed to attach onto a circular lens. The rectangular case is covered in red Morocccan leather. The top has the gold inscription, "THE ISOSTIGMAR LENS/WILLIAMS, BROWN & EARLE,/PHILADELPHIA/AMERICAN AGENTS:". The interior of the case is lined in blue velvet, and the base is molded to fit the filter and one other identically shaped and sized object.
