Circular half-tone filter with box and lid. The filter consists of a flat, circular piece of glass that is transparent yellow on the upper 2/3 and clear on the remaining 1/3. The glass is set into a silver-toned metal frames with three rubber-coated tabs placed equidistant around the edge for securing to a lens. The inscription "ROYAL FOREGROUND RAY SCREEN/PATENTED/GEORGE MURPHY INC NEW YORK" impressed on the side of the fram. The top is indicated with the impressed inscription, "TOP". The case consists of a round body and round lid, each covered in red Moroccan leather. The bottom is lined in purple velvet whill the lid is lined in black leather.Use
