The front of the packet is printed with the inscription, "May we plant a few seeds of wisdom?", and illustration of a man and cow reading a magazine, and the text logo of Vermont Magazine. A longer inscription indicates that the packet was sent to entice subscriptions to the magazine. The back is printed with planting instructions and indicates the seeds are a mix of wildflowers.
