Description

Electric vibrator and storage case. The vibrator consists of a handheld machine with a black handle and long, cotton-covered electrical cord. There are 4 head attachments: flat rubber circle with several extending tines; flat black plastic circle; large rubber fluted cup; small rubber cup. The device is in a leather-covered case lined with velvet on one side and greet satin on the other side.

Context

Used at private maternity hospital in Jeffersonville during WWII. The hospital was run out of a house by Dr. Roger W. Mann.
