Description

Tufted mittens with a design of a flower tree on the top center. The mittens are tufted primarily with white wool yarn, but the cuffs are decorated in a band of flowers, and the mittens are sprigged throughout in black and red. The lining is knitted. The tufting creates a cut pile about 3/8th-inch high.

Worn by a member of the Rich family of Montpelier, Vermont.
