Man's double-breasted linen vest with 2 rows of 4 mother-of-pearl buttons. 3 of the buttons on the right side have been replaced by much smaller ones. The fabric on the vest front is linen, and is woven with a checked pattern. The back of the vest is white cotton and has a belt for adjusting the fit. There are illegible letters in black ink on inside of belt. The collar is short in back and extends to long lapels in front. It has 4 pockets: 2 at the chest and 2 near the waistline.Context
