Description

Man’s vest. The front panels are made of brocaded silk, with a pattern of darts and leagues. The ground fabric is light beige, and the brocaded patter in dark navy blue. There are three welt pockets. The vest secures at the center front with five buttons, no longer present. The neckline has a rounded lapel. The front panels have decorative navy blue top stitching. The back panels are made of dark brown glazed cotton, and there are two horizontal straps that attach with a metal buckle to adjust fit. The interior is lined with light brown glazed cotton. The interior hem of the two front panels is reinforced with a strip of brown leather.
