Framed paper invitation to a community dance. The ticket indicates that it is for the "Last Supper Party and Dance, at the Old Pavilion Hotel" on February 3, 1875. Details on the ticket indicate that it could be used by the bearer and their guests and that festivities included a live band and a supper. Admission was $2.50. The reverse contains a list of names of men on the "Committee of Invitation". It finishes with the warning, "This will be the last opportunity the citizens of Montpelier and the patrons of the OLD PAVILION will have to meet and enjoy themselves under its roof, as the lease expires March 1st, and the House is be close before that date."Context
