Description

Burgandy leather-covered box containing various game pieces and scorecards. The box has a strap lid that lays over the top. It is embossed in gold at the center top with the inscription, "A CHRISTMAS GIFT FROM YOU HOME CITY BURLINGTON, VT. 1944". Inside the box are 25 red poker chips, 25 blue poker chips, 25 yellow poker chips; 25 white poker chips; 5 6-sided dice; 10 small red wooden cubes printed on one side each with an illustration of a bowling pin; a rule booklet explaining gin rummy; a rule booklet explaining bowling; a score pad for gin rummy, a score pad for bowling, a deck of cards with a young girl printed on the back of each card, a golf pencil, and a collapsible dice shaker printed in gold with an illustration of a bowling ball and two bowling pins.
