Paper money for 3 pounds. The front is printed with the words "VERMONT CURRENCY" in the upper border, along with the serial number 360. The center has the inscription, "THREE POUNDS. THE Poffeffor of this BILL fhall be paid by the Treafurer of the State of Vermont, THREE POUNDS, in Spanifh mill'd Dollars, at Six Shillings each, or Gold or Silver Coins equivalent, by the firft Day of June, A. D. 1782. By Order of Affembly, Windfor, February 1781." It is signed "E. Walbridge" and "J. Porter". The back is printed with the inscription, "THREE POUNDS. Death to counterfeit. WESTMINSTER.
