Description

Wooden trunk. The interior is lined with sprigged wallpaper. There are two leather straps that wrap around the trunk and buckle on the latch side. There is a small leather handle for carrying. The top is marked with the stenciled label, "Lt. C. D. Brainerd". There is a leather tag that reads, "Capt. Brainerd, 17th Vt. Vol."
