Wholecloth quilt faced with chintz printed in a large, closely repeating pattern of pheasants nestled within flowers beneath a fruit tree. The ground color is tan, and the printing is blue, red, and black, with areas of white bordering the print. The quilting at the center follows the outline of the printed motif, but the quilting of the rest of the piece is in a scalloped pattern. The quilt is backed with cream-colored cotton, and the edges are bound with woven tape.Acquisition
