Description

Pieced quilt consisting of 30 pictorial block. Blocks range from scenery, to buildings, to maps. They are bordered by strips of blue flowered calico and tan calico printed with trees. The blocks are quilted, and the border is tied. Each of the blocks exhibit different techniques, including piecing, applique, drawing, stenciling, machine quilting, and hand quilting. The quilt is backed with plain muslin with an applied panel listing the maker of each block.

Made by residents of Addison County to celebrate the Vermont Bicentennial in 1991.
