Description

Machin's Mills imitation British halfpenny. The obverse is struck with an image of a Roman bust facing right and the words, "GEORGIUS III REX" around the edge. The reverse is struck with an allegorical woman draped in fabric holding a stem of wheat and staff, seated beside a shield bearing the English flag. The word "BRITANNIA" is around the edge and the date 1787 is at the center bottom.
