Description

Pieced quilt made from twenty-five 8"x8" blocks with brown sashing and border. The blocks alternate between traditional quilt block patterns and pictorial blocks showing scenes, buildings, and wildlife associated with towns in Windsor County, Vermont. They use a variety of techniques, including piecing, applique, embroidery, and drawing. There are two extra pictorial blocks sewn into the backing, showing a church and a train.
