Hand puppet of a demon or the devil. The hand inserts behind the body with room for fingers in the arms and head. The legs hang in front of the hand. The body and upper legs are made from light-brown linen, and the arms and a neck ruffle are made from olive-green linen. The head is made from papier-mâché molded to shape with a hooked nose, round cheeks, pointed ears, and two small horns on the top of the head. The head is painted bright red with black eyebrows, wrinkles, and horns, black-and-yellow eyes, and yellow lips. The hands made of wood and painted peach. The legs and feet are made of wood and painted black.Acquisition
