Case metal plate molded in the center with the state seal of Vermont and around the edge with the words, "THE REPUBLIC OF VERMONT BICENTENNIAL 1777". The state seal consists of a field with a cow, a large evergreen tree, and three sheaves of wheat in front of a line of trees and mountains.
