Half-inch scale train car model. The rail car has a slightly domed roof and green panel siding. The stepped roof has narrow windows for venting cut into it and a series of tall glass windows down the sides, with booth seats visible through the windows. There is a sliding door with glass top half at either end of the car. Printed on the side is "U.S. MAIL" between the two front doors and "MOUNT MANSFIELD ELECTRIC RAILROAD" below the windows, all in gold. There are electrical wiring bases mounted at either end of the roof to tie into the electrical running system.
This model is of the Waterbury-Stowe Interurban rail car used on the Mount Mansfield Electric Railroad between 1898 and 1933.
