Description

Metal rimmed eye glasses in leather case. The glasses have small oval frames, and the earpiece are turned back into a loop. Gold lettering on case reads, "Dr. J.E. Prescott; Oculist; Brattleboro, VT"

Context

Made by Dr. Josiah Prescott, a travelling oculist who set up temporary exam rooms in local hotels across Vermont.
