Croquet set consisting of four mallets, four balls, two stands, two pegs, eight hoops, sixteen hoop bases, and a cardboard box. The mallets are each painted with a stripe around the center of the head: yellow, green, blue, and red. The balls are painted corresponding colors. The two stands and pegs are painted red and yellow. The hoops are made of wire bent in two places, and the stands are blue-painted semi-circles with small holes for the wires to be inserted into. The box has an attached lid printed in white and green with an image of children playing croquet inside a room and children playing croquet on a lawn. The inscription, "INDOOR-OUTDOOR CROQUET", spans the top. The room illustration has a banner that reads, "NEWTON & THOMPSON MRG. CO", and the lawn illustration has a banner that reads, "200 Fifth Ave. New York."Context
