Miniature pitcher printed with a colored image of a neoclassical building with a domed cupola and a six-columned portico. The building is colored brown with a black dome and the surrounding trees are colored green. The image is labeled, "State House, Montpelier, Vt." The handle and the neck of the pitcher are glazed blue. The bottom has the mark, "Made in Germany for Miss S. S. Slade, Montpelier, Vt."
