Description

Stoneware crock with overglaze hand-painted design of a leafless tree. The body of the crock flares outward toward the midpoint, then stays straight to the top. There are U-shaped handles applied to either side, and two parallel lines are incised around the piece at the center point of the handles. Below the lines is the stamped label, "E. W. FARRAR & CO. BURLINGTON, VT 2".
