Description

Stoneware crock with hand-painted decoration of a stem of flowers. There are U-shaped handles on either side, and two parallel lines are incised around the body at the attachment point of the handles. Above the lines is in the blue stamped label, "LEWIS & CADY FAIRFAX, VT 2". The lip of the piece is flared outward and rounded.
