Stoneware butter churn with blue hand-painted design of a stem of wheat. There is a flat iron band around the bottom of the churn. Two U-shaped handles are applied on either side. At the center front is the stamped inscription, "F. WOODWORTH / BURLINGTON, VT / 4". The churn has a small lid with a hole in the center, through which a long wood rod with a paddle on the end is inserted.Context
