In a gilded shadow-box frame, under glass, there are ten military insignia items. The contents of the shadow-box include the following:
1. A curved sleeve patch indicating "Airborne."
2. The round shoulder sleeve patch for the 17th Airborne Division, featuring an embroidered talon on a black background.
3. A silver U.S. Army glider badge, measuring 11/16 inch in height and 1 1/2 inches in width. It consists of a frontal view of a glider superimposed upon a pair of stylized wings curving inward. This badge symbolizes individual skills and qualifications in aerial flight utilizing the glider. It was authorized by the War Department on June 2, 1944 (Circular No. 220).
4. A U.S. Army Parachute badge, similar to the Glider badge, with stylized wings and an open parachute in the center.
5. Captain's bars, denoting Peck's rank.
6. Several military ribbons, including:
-Air Medal ribbon: blue with two orange stripes.
-Purple Heart ribbon: purple and white.
-American Campaign ribbon: red, white, blue, and black stripes.
-European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign ribbon, adorned with three bronze service stars and one bronze arrowhead: brown, green, white, red, and black.
