Description

Hand card for wool treatment. The base of the card is a flat wooden paddle with a joined wooden handle. The handle is a post with semicircular dimension shaped, so that the flat edge lines up with the face of the card, and the curved back would be held by the user's hand. The face of the card has short metal wires set into it.

Used to pull wool fibers parallel in preparation for spinning.
