Description

Leather case with glass vials of medicines. The case rolls together and closes with a flap, a strap wrapping around the case and securing into a slit. Inside are two rows of 5 leather loops, labeled in ink with the medicine inside the enclosed glass vials. The center portion of the case is labeled, “Walter S. Vincent, M. D. Surgeon 9th regiment”. The inside of the flap is labeled 1861.
