Description

Dark blue wool gabardine uniform coat. The coat has 2 rows of blue buttons at the front; there is an extra, small button aligned with the row on the proper left. The coat is partially lined with satin. It has a rounded collar with large lapels. There is a tab and buttons under the collar to fasten the collar in an upright position. The sleeves have tabs and smaller buttons near the cuffs for cinching closed. The collar facing is bound and has buttonholes for attaching a removable liner. There is a tag attached tot he facing witht he name "Turner" written in ink, and the name "Marion I. Turner" on the reverse. The lining is stenciled in white with the name, "M. I. TURNER". There is a matching, self-fabric belt with a blue plastic buckle.
