Description

Side drum with a shell of rosewood with a glued seam. The inner hoop is made of maple (33mm wide). The vent hole bushing is missing. The counterhoops are made of rosewood. There are twelve iron hooks on each rim, and the original rope is present. There seven remaining leather ears, each with a hole in the center and two lobes stamped with five-pointed stars. There are 8 gut snares with a leather tab at one end and a nickel silver tensioner with an iron quatrefoil-shaped tumb screw at the other end. It has vellum heads (both torn) over wood fleshhoops.
