Brass surveying compass with two upright sites attached to the arms. The compass is large and under glass. The cardinal directions are marked with etched leaves, with a fleur-de-lys at north. There are inter-cardinal directions marked with etchings as well. The compass is marked on it's face, "Bleuler, London".
The compass sits in a wooden case, appearing to be homemade. There are three wooden blocks inside the case that have become unglued.Context
