This pen is said to have belonged to Frank C. Partridge (1861-1943). He was born in East Middlebury, and graduated from Amherst College in 1882 and Columbia Law School in 1884. He was appointed U.S. Senator from Vermont (1930-31) to serve out the term of Frank Green who had died in office. He was chairman of the board of the Vermont Marble Co. in Proctor. he was on the board of directors of National Life Insurance Co. and the Rutland Railroad and a trustee of Middlebury College.Acquisition
