Two-tined fork with wooden handle. The handle consists of two pieces of wood bolted to a central metal tang. The tang extends in one piece to the head of the fork, which is split into two tines.

Found in the foundation of the house of Ensign Gideon Walker, built in 1784 in Whiting, Vermont.
