Description

Handwoven linen, rather coarse in texture. Block alphabet at top, script next, smaller block and lastly lower case. Numbers 1-20 follow on the 7th line. The last 2+ lines read: "Olive Freeman Was Born in W/ aterford Vermont May 24 1823/ Age 15." A border of squares on end surround it with a row of running stitch 5/16" from border. About 5" of blank space at the bottom, 3.5" at the far left. The lines between the rows are cross stitch variations.
