Description

Six-chambered revolver with rifled bore. The chambers have external cap nipples, one of which is missing. The gun has two triggers. The larger, lower trigger cocks the hammer and rotates the cylinder; the upper trigger fires the gun. The letters "HM" are stamped into the cylinder. The top of the lock is engraved, "Savage R.F.A. Middletown. CT/ H.S. North Patented June 17 1856/ January 18 1859 May 15 1860"
