Description

Round, white pin. At the top of the pin is the word "VOTE" written in blue. In the center of the pin "IBTW" is written in blue with the T a size larger than the other three letters. At the bottom half of the pin is the word "INDEPENDENT" also written in blue. Beneath the word "INDEPENDENT" is an oval logo and the number 36 also in blue.

Context

International Brotherhood of Telephone Workers (IBTW) was a labor union for employees of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. In 1969-70, members voted to be represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
