Description

Plaster plaque of New England. A majority of the plaque is colored using a plaster tint. Plaque depicts topographic map of New England along with several rivers. Mountains are depicted as a series of edged points facing upward. Rivers are depicted are depicted using a series of depressions in the plaster. Several red pen marks are visible in north western Vermont, southern Maine, eastern new Hampshire and north eastern Massachusetts. Up and to left of the map is a 4 sided compass with fleur de lis in the middle. To the south east of the map the text " New England" is molded . To the south of the map the text "modeled by the new England Planning commission" is molded but the text is slightly obscured by wear. A metal wire is protruding from the top of the plaque.
