Description

Two-piece dress consisting of a bodice and skirt. Both are made from lightweight white cotton printed with an abstract pattern of a paisley-type swirl surrounded by sprigs of small berries or flowers (visually similar to dill) and two rose buds. The bodice opens at the center front and secures with hooks and eyes. It has a small, pointed yolk at the top, and the shirt front attaches to the yolk with a raised ruffle. The bodice is shaped to the wearer through gathers at the center front. The sleeves have long cuffs and are puffed at the top. The full skirt is gathered to a waistband and decorated with three horizontal tucks near the hem.
