Black toleware tray with a hand-painted design of red flowers and berries and green leaves around the border of the center. The edges of the tray flare upward. Overall the tray is rectangular, but the corners are cut off, giving it eight sides. The bottom is scratched with the inscription, "Sarah Rice's" in two places.Context
