The scale model has a natural wooden base, silver painted dowels in a grid pattern holding a silver painted platform, and a wooden track made of a series of rungs on the top of the platform. A metal chain is attached to one of the painted dowels. A long green painted box with pierced squares below an a-frame roof is on the edge of the orange and black box. Model of floating railroad bridge across Lake Champlain connecting Vermont and New York from Larrabee's Point to Ticonderoga. The bridge was composed of stationery piers from each shore joined by a floating barge hinged on one side. Powered by a steam engine. The barge would swing open for boats to pass through.Acquisition
