Description

Blue wool forage cap with missing brim. The crown has a stiff, flat top and unstiffened sides, allowing the top to fall forward. There is a brass button on either side of the crown, with a black and brown leather strap running between them. The initials "U.W." are embroidered inside a laurel wreath at the front of the cap. The interior is lined with black silk and printed with the label, "GOTTSCHALK BROS. 202 & 204 West Water St. MILWAUKEE, WIS."
