Female figure made of papier-mâché over a wire frame wearing a blue silk gown with wide bell sleeves lined with gold silk and trimmed with brown fur. There is a wide fur collar and faux-leather belt. The headdress consists of a padded ring and veil.
The figure is accompanied by a plywood case consisting of a base and cover that attached with metal clamps. There is a paper label that reads, "1440 MEDIEVAL LADY / HEADDRESS: FILLET (NOT SEEN) TEMPLER, AND PADDED ROLL WITH LIRIPIPE (SCARF). LONG HOUPPELANDE (DRESS) FLOOR-LENGTH SLEEVES.
