Description

Large plate printed in the center well with a scene of several tall-masted ships at battle in a lake. The back is printed with a wreath formed up a vine, rope, chains, cannons, anchors, and cannon balls. Inside the wreath is the inscription, "MacDONOUGH'S VICTORY ON LAKE CHAMPLAIN", followed by a long description of the event.
