Description

Large plate printed in the center well with a scene of tall-masted ships at battle. The back is printed with a wreath formed up a vine, rope, chains, cannons, anchors, and cannon balls. Inside the wreath is the inscription, "THE CONSTITUION AND THE GUERRIERE", followed by a long description of the event.

Made to commemorate a battle during the War of 1812.
