Female figure made of papier-mâché over a wire frame wearing a "Dolly Varden" hat of beige straw with flowers and pink ribbon trim. Her golden hair is braided and drawn into a chignon at the back of the head. She has large circular gold earrings. The dress is made of pink-and-white striped fabric with blue floral sprigs. The narrow waist has a self-fabric belt over a short peplum. An ornamental chatelaine attached to the belt holds the link chain of a small leather purse. Dark blue bows and lace decorate the dress. The skirt is held in two tiers. The undergarments are a half crinoline and a bustle. The figure stands on a wooden base.Use
