Female figure made of papier-mâché over a wire frame wearing an Edwardian-style dress of black net over white lace. The over dress is printed with an all-over patter of fleur-de-lis and trimmed at the neck, sleeves, and hem with three lines of black velvet ribbon. The neckline and sleeves show white lace, with sleeves particularly extravagant. The figure has black hair held in a bun at the top of her head under a wide-brimmed straw hat trimmed with silk flowers. she is holding a small purse and pink silk and lace parasol. Beneath the skirt of the dress are a petticoat, black stockings, and shoes.
The figure is accompanied by a plywood case consisting of a base and cover that attached with metal clamps.Use
