White ceramic waste bowl on a circular pedestal base. The body of the bowl flares outward and is decorated on the outside by hand-painted leaves and flowers in red, orange, green, and pink luster. The rim is banded in pink luster. The center of the interior of the bowl is sprigged with pink luster.

Used during tea service to receive the cold tea from a cup before pouring a new, hot cup.
