Description

Male figure made of papier- mâché over a wire frame wearing a red-and-white checked shirt, grey wool pants, black leather shoes, and a straw hat. The shirt is long sleeved with a falling collar. The pants are held up by suspenders. The figure is shown playing an upright bass with a bow. His mouth is open as if singing. There is a jug at his feet. The figure is attached to a painted wooden base. The figure is accompanied by a plywood case consisting of a base and cover that attached with metal clamps.
