Small wooden carving of a roasted turkey on an oval platter. The turkey is breast side up with no wings. The lip of the plate is carved with the words, "1948 / "JOYFULL THANKSGIVING ALL." The turkey attaches to the platter with a small dowel (likely a toothpick) through a hole in the center of the platter.Context
